Jordan DeBoard Nutrition Counseling is in network with BCBS of North Carolina and will file insurance claims following sessions. We are not in network with Blue Local, Blue Home or Blue Value.
If you have an out of state BCBS plan, you will need to call the number on the back of your insurance card and verify coverage.

Ouf of Network
If you have an out of network insurance plan, we will provide you a super bill to send to your insurance for reimbursement if requested. A super bill is medical receipt of services. More explanation here: https://www.choosingtherapy.com/superbill/

Client Responsibility
Insurance coverage can be confusing and frustrating - However, it is the responsibility of the client to understand the coverage your specific plan provides prior to beginning sessions. Please call the number on the back of your insurance card at least one week prior to your first session to see what your insurance policy will cover and refer to this document for questions to ask your insurance.

Good Faith Estimate *
As of 2020, it is required by law to provide a good faith estimate to clients disclosing cost of services. With nutrition sessions, it can be difficult to estimate how many sessions you will need, however, we strive to be an open book about cost of services with no hidden fees.
